Educational Visits
At Kirton Primary School, we believe learning extends far beyond the classroom. Our educational visits bring lessons to life, spark curiosity, and create memorable experiences for our pupils. Whether exploring local history, visiting museums, enjoying outdoor adventures, or taking part in workshops, these trips give children the chance to see, hear, and experience what they’ve been learning in class.
Bringing Learning to Life
Each year group takes part in a range of exciting visits. Reception children might explore farms or role play centres, while Year 1 enjoy woodland walks and trips to Lincoln Zoo. Older pupils travel further afield, visiting historical sites like Lincoln Castle and Flag Fen, or taking part in residential experiences. These trips help children develop independence, teamwork, and a love of learning.
Safety and Support
The wellbeing and safety of our pupils is always our top priority. All visits are carefully risk-assessed, fully supervised, and organised by experienced staff.
We require parental permission for every trip, and while we aim to keep costs low, visits rely on parent contributions to make them possible. Your support ensures that we can continue to offer engaging, curriculum-linked experiences for all our pupils.
