Phonics Screening Check 2024
If you have a child in year 1, your child will take part in the phonics screening check in June.
The phonics screening check is a check of your child’s phonics knowledge. It helps the school confirm whether your child is making the progress expected in the national curriculum.

KS2 National Curriculum Tests 2024
If you have a child in year 6, at the end of key stage 2 (KS2) they will take national curriculum assessments in:
• English grammar, punctuation and spelling
• English reading
• mathematics
Some people refer to these tests as ‘SATs’.

Reception Baseline Assessment
Do you have a child starting reception class?
If so, your child will be participating in the reception baseline assessment (RBA) within the first 6 weeks of starting reception.
